Not a very friendly staff. A pity, the musicisians are great and nice food. Sadly, I will never return there.

I REALLY enjoyed the food! Me being a meat eater and my wife a vegan we have some struggles finding places to accommodate both of us. We didn't look any further when finding Bistro SF Grill. Everything from the starters to the entrees was very tasty and it would take multiple visits to try out this menu. To top it off we had live music. GOOD STUFF!!

Showed up without a reservation on a Saturday night and got bar seating, which was a blessing in disguise because of great conversation with the barkeep! $20 wine tasting was excellent, as was all the food we ordered. Ambience on point for date night with live music. And very reasonably priced.

It's a small place with a nice atmosphere and good food. The negatives? I wasn't ten bites into my salad before my dinner came which to me is just pure laziness on the servers part. You're supposed to either time it right or ask- hey shall i put the main course in now? They also put a big salad on a small plate which is a personal pet peeve because as soon as you dig in, everything spills over the side. But I will say one thing for the cook, he/she sure knows how to cook a carrot right 👍😎

First day in the city when I was walking through this side of town. I was blown away with the cafe-esk vibe that was being provided by a pianist and cellist playing in the corner. That's what drew me in and I'm glad I sat and enjoyed myself. A quaint hour of good food and chill music. I would recommend taking your girl here for a quick bite. Phenomenal food.

We had delicious sauteed Brussels sprouts, juicy lamb and beef burgers (they also have salmon and veggie), thin, crisp fries, excellent fish entree, swoonworthy chocolate cake. Soft live music. Be aware the place is tiny and you might need a reservation.

Super nice people, they have a great lunch & dinner entre deal during shelter in place, choose from 5 different dishes for 5.5$ each.

My favorite in Noe Valley. Incredibly friendly and polite service, live music and great food. Beef stew is my favorite there, especially after a long day at work. Pair it with beer on tap or a glass of simple wines from Croatia or Bosnia and boom.

What a great find. This place is authentic, unique and has a great almost-funky vibe. We were seated next to jazz pianist playing that night, and he was great. We had such a good time, chatting with the pianist and owner, that we didn't leave until after closing time!

Wonderful private event at Bistro SF Grill last night. We hosted a benefit fundraiser at this lovely restaurant - seating 50 people in a very intimate setting. The staff was very professional and the food was excellent! Their wine list and beers are local to the Balkans which many of our guests enjoyed. We couldn't have pulled off such a smooth event without the owners helping and the servers being so attentive - they ensured all the guests had a great time and many are very eager to come back! We would highly recommend considering SF Bistro Grill for your next company event / fundraising event or whatever else you might need!

Outstanding spot for burgers. it has a great interior. they have so many good reviews for a reason.

Great atmosphere and food. The only reason for 4 stars is the food could use a little more flavor. But the pictures do not do it justice we sat in the window and had a lovely cozy dinner. The wine list was great and they had bottle of wine deals. Our waiter was very attentive and he even sung along with the pianist beautifully.

Amazing food from Croatia, Europe. The mini burgers are a must to discover. They have a great menu if you are in the mood for the Mediterranean diet. We were there on a quiet Saturday and everything was perfect. We will be back.

A really wonderful place! My dad took me for the dinner with live music, which they have every night. Went back the next afternoon with my boyfriend for the wine tasting. It really is a chic, but not pretentious, place with a neighborhood feel.

Been here a few times already and this is my favorite place in Noe Valley. It's everything a neighborhood restaurant should be. The menu is very well done with great variety and something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable for SF. And the best part is the service, the folks running things make you feel like family.....we have always been made to feel really welcome here. Love it!
